Bio-based bridge

Smart Circular Bridge Project

Bridge campus Flevoland-Floriade and its partners are examining different ways of building circular bridges.

One example is a Bio-based bridge from the Technical University of Eindhoven. As part of this Interreg project, a bio-composite bridge was realised in the Floriade park. Sensors will assist research into the reactions of the bridge (still unknown) to guarantee safety and continue developing the use of a bio-composite.
